House – Katong Singapore 2004 Proposal for a renovation and extension of a listed building in the historic quarter in Katong.  The scheme comprised of shelling out the existing building to create a large communal area, linked to a new rear block of accommodations via a series of steps and ramps.  An internal courtyard delineates the common from the private, while allowing light, ventilation and privacy for the occupants of each floor.
